Opening its doors 50+ years ago, BREC’s Baton Rouge Zoo has become one of the quintessential tourism attractions of the Greater Baton Rouge area. Today the organization and facility are in the middle of a full-scale revamp that includes facility construction and a top-to-bottom rebrand. The Zoo’s team originally approached TILT for marketing support, and since then, the relationship has grown to include creative campaigns, event promotion, and most recently a full rebrand and new website launch.

The brand gets new wings

After dozens of versions by the TILT Creative Team, we landed on the logo that features one of the Zoo’s iconic pink flamingos. The flamingo works seamlessly in the full logo but also stands alone as an icon signifier for purposes like social media profiles and other uses.

The new website, TILT’s second build with the Baton Rouge Zoo Team, is a robust and interactive home for an abundance of content.

The responsive site features in-depth information regarding all aspects of the zoo—facility operations, events, membership, and details regarding the animals and history of the zoo. Maybe most importantly, visitors to the site will be able to purchase tickets in a seamless process that helps them get in and experience the facility firsthand.

A comprehensive marketing effort helped launch the public debut of the new brand. The identity's bold colors and illustrations become the perfect invitation for loyal patrons and new explorers alike to discover the world of Baton Rouge Zoo.

Our paid social campaign encouraged Zoo visitors to discover the captivating and wild world of Baton Rouge Zoo. Visitors are closer than ever to the action with bite-sized adventures that capture the most incredible moments of Baton Rouge's wildest residents.
