TILT is looking to add an experienced Social Media Strategist to our team. The Social Media Strategist will assist in leading our social media department and develop a comprehensive social media strategy for our clients aimed at increasing engagement, brand awareness, and web traffic.

As a Strategist, you should have excellent organizational and multitasking skills in order to manage multiple clients and projects simultaneously. TILT’s client roster includes a range of industries (Food & Beverage, Healthcare, Restaurant, Alcohol & Spirits, Construction), so this position is perfect for someone looking for variety in their daily work and can bring creative ideas to the table.

Daily Responsibilities:

  • Social Media Strategy - Lead the day-to-day strategy of social media platforms (TikTok, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn) and willingness to jump into whatever is next. You’ll also collaborate with the creative team and lead the day-to-day planning and strategy of both organic and paid social media content. Experience in paid media management (Facebook Ads, LinkedIn Ads, Twitter Ads, etc.) required.
  • Content Scheduling - Caption, edit, and schedule social media posts using our preferred CMS (Sprout Social)
  • Community Management - Respond to comments and DMs, share user-generated content, and engage with influencers for partnerships and campaigns (as needed)
  • Reporting - Prepare social media audits and analytics reports for clients (monthly, quarterly, or as needed)
  • Leadership - Work with TILT leadership on new business and expansion of the social department through RFPs, leading meetings, writing up proposals, etc. You must be comfortable communicating with clients and acting as the main point-of-contact on all social media contracts and conversations.

Requirements & Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years social media marketing experience. Agency experience is a plus.
  • Experience in copywriting for social media specifically.
  • Independent, motivated, creative and detail oriented. Ability to quickly shift priorities and think on your feet.
  • Experience in content management systems (e.g. Sprout Social, Buffer, Hootsuite, Later, etc.)
  • Experience in Adobe Creative Suite (including InDesign, Photoshop, and Lightroom)
  • Some experience working with photography and video is a plus.
  • Must have strong interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to build positive working relationships.
  • Ability to travel as needed. Our client roster includes brands across Louisiana and beyond. Must be able to travel between Baton Rouge, New Orleans, and the rest of the state periodically, as well as out-of-state trips when needed.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Communication, Advertising, Marketing, Public Relations or relevant field preferred.
